Our People
With an objective of delivering outstanding work we have assembled a team of exceptional people and putting in place some rigorous process and knowledge management systems.

Our Managing Director has over 25 years experience of business development on the commercial and public sector. This includes writing research proposals, grant applications and tender writing. Over the last 14 years he has been instrumental in developing and refining the methodologies we use to write tender proposals and bid documents that win, consistently achieving success rates of over 60%.
Tony McKelvie our Business Development Director leads the proposal sales and delivery process. His absolute passion for "doing outstanding work" often makes the proposal managers and writers life uncomfortable, however results in excellent proposals time after time.
Out team of Proposal Managers own and manage the proposal creation process from sale to payment of our invoice. So the first person you speak to about your need will also be the person responsible for delivering and excellent proposal to you.
Their role is not simply to manage one of our proposal writers creating the document they own the intellectual quality of the proposal document. As such they will initially create a clear understanding of the requirements of the ITT, decide on what the structure of the response will be, gather information from that we need to create the response, guide the writer through the writing process (critiquing their work as it is created) and ensure the proposal is evaluated by one of our evaluators.
Bill Watson, our Learning & Development Director, has brought a real depth of scientific and academic rigour to our training. He has taken our knowledge of what works in the real world and added the underpinning scientific foundation upon which they work. The result, practical tools and technique delegates can use combined with an understanding of why they work which means they develop real capability.
Our Public Sector Client Director, Peter Hamilton, looks after, not unsurprisingly, our public sector clients. He helps them from both a purchasing and tendering perspective. For example helping NHS community service teams develop their tender writing skills or helping the NHS commissioners move from need specification to commissioning specification. His calm, attentive, analytical style combined with extensive experience of the public sector and its procurement processes means you can trust he will help you develop approach that work and achieve the outcomes you want.
