Equality and Diversity Training - An Important Issue for All Employers
With increasing legislation around Equality and Diversity (specifically the 2010 Equality Act), it is essential that employers and employees are fully aware of the rights and responsibilities of staff and of the duty of care employers have regarding all employees.
Our Equality and Diversity Training Course is designed to offer greater awareness to both employers and employees. We have involved ACAS in the development and reviewing of our equality and diversity course so you can be confident the material covers the issues required by the 2010 Equality Act.
The Equality and Diversity Training helps employees understand the subject and their obligations. The quiz at the end of the course, combined with the certificate provided, helps employers demonstrate they have discharged their duty of care, helping to offset their vicarious liability under the 2010 Equality Act.
The objective of the Equality and Diversity Training is to encourage a positive and harmonious working environment for all by giving people and understanding of the issues and their obligations under current legislation. The course is split into three parts:
