Ethics, Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption

  • What is a bribe?
  • What do you do if you are offered a bribe?
  • What do you do if you are asked for a 'facilitation payment'?
  • What are your responsibilities with respect to Bribery and Corruption?

The Bribery Act 2010 came into force on the 1st July 2011.  The Act revolutionises English law on bribery by providing a new corporate offence whereby companies are now criminally liable for bribes paid by employees or agents unless 'adequate procedures' are in place to prevent bribery.  The Act widens UK jurisdication and increases the penalties for bribery.

It has become essential that every employer, employee and stakeholder understands their rights and responsibilities under the Bribery Act 2010.  Our Anti-Bribery Course is designed to provide a comprehensive guide to the Bribery Act 2010 and clarify its implications for employers, employees and stakeholders.
