The Growth Company wishes to appoint a number of service providers to enter into a Framework Contract for the delivery of Software Development Services. The initial programme of work outlined in this tender will be commissioned by the GC Business Growth Hub but further services may be required on a Group wide basis. These services will be commissioned through this contract by the Growth Company.
The Framework will consist of no more than 4 providers and each subsequent piece of work will be subject to a mini competition to appoint the provider to the particular project.
Services in scope
• Software development;
• Governance, and ad-hoc services;
• Transformation services.
Out of scope: In general, the Growth Company will provide the infrastructure to deliver these services under the guidance of the Contractor.
The Growth Company want to receive high-quality, fit for purpose, good value for money services.
The Growth Company want to build a successful partnership with the Contractor for the implementation of the Framework
The Growth Company’s IT services landscape is a multi-party multi-vendor environment with integration of many different technical components. Occasionally, The Growth Company will require the Contractor to take the overall lead in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of services and solutions, which require contribution from third party contractors and consist of different components not under the direct responsibility of the Contractor.
On such occasions it is essential that the Contractor is willing to act as The Growth Company’s single point of contact and take care of the communications and collaborations with the other teams, ‘behind the scenes’, without reliance on The Growth Company.
