Invitation to tender for a provider to deliver a cohort-based training programme for food and drink manufacturers
If you want help with winning this tender, then take a look at our Tender Writing page.
The West Midlands was one of three trail-blazing regions to launch an early Local Industrial Strategy. The West Midlands Local Industrial Strategy (WMLIS) identifies the food and drink manufacturing as a key sector strength for the region.
GBSLEP is leading on the delivery of the Food and Drink Sector Recovery Plan through a partnership between the three West Midlands LEPs (Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership, Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership).
As a result of limited time, expertise or awareness SMEs in the food and drink manufacturing sector can find bidding for supply chain opportunities a challenge. It is now more important than ever that businesses are given the tools to successfully win contracts in our local and national supply chains, to support business sustainability and growth.
To this end GBSLEP requires a Provider to design and conduct a cohort-based business support programme to increase the confidence and understanding of food and drink manufacturing businesses bidding for supply chain opportunities. This programme will be titled ‘Winning Bids – A programme for Food & Drink Manufacturers’. The programme will betailored to food and drink manufacturers in the GBSLEP, CWLEP and BCLEP areas. Suggested topics could include bid writing skills, pitching in the food and drink sector and successful pricing.
We are looking for a provider to deliver the following:
• Programme design, scheduling and supporting material
• Workshop delivery and facilitation of approximately 8x 2 hour workshops
• Promotional content design
All training events are expected to be held virtually using tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom or alternatives.
The contract will last until 31st December 2021.
The contract will be awarded on the following basis:
• One supplier to be awarded for the project
