II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Langstane wishes to enter into a contract with an organisation who is suitably qualified and experienced in the installation and upgrade of heating systems as set out in the accompanying ESPD guidance. This contract will cover the Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray areas
The contract will run for a three year initial period from November 2020 to November 2023, with the option to extend by 1 + 1 years to November 2025.
A breakdown of anticipated works and anticipated value is included in the ESPD Guidance and will include planned boiler replacements, radiator replacements, full heating upgrades (boiler, radiators, controls) and occasional gas to electric fuel switches or (where no gas is available) electric storage to high efficiency electric storage installations

There may be a requirement to purchase additional works through the contract from time to time in response to a variety of circumstances such as budget changes. It is envisaged that this additional work each year will equate to no more than 100,000 GBP in value and will usually be a combination of additional boiler replacements, radiator replacements and/or full heating upgrades. This additional work has been included in the estimated value but there is no guarantee that the work will be required.
